Peace like a river runs through my veins
The cross standing strong perpetually casting its light
Gazing above in the depths of my heart and soul
Searching for answers that feel like a galaxy apart
Reminds me of the path I often stray from
Intersecting with wisdom, calming my fright
When the world seems insane
It cries out my name
Follow me, dear child
Listen to the words that I say
Take all the stress and strain away
No more disappointment and shame
He came into this world
To take our burdens away
Why’s is so hard to listen
Give our troubles all away
Trust in your higher power
Whatever and whoever that may be
You can’t go it alone across that deep blue sea
Your life boat it’s waiting, climb aboard now please
So sit by that cross at the water so blue
Softly listening, serenely hearing, the words just for you
Gather your strength yet again to keep on keeping on
This precious, unconditional love source keep you moving toward the son.
