Love the change you can change?

I’m a change agent, baby
Do it all the time
When I’m in charge
Change is mighty fine

Routine by definition
Changes by dawn’s early light
Whatever peaks my interest
The schedule’s out of sight

Routine is something different
Not held in high esteem
Running through fields of daydreams
Dancing in the rodeo, double time

Swore I’d never fall in step
Pledge of allegiance to myself
Change beats routine
Every single time

Routine is overrated
An acquaintance once said
I nodded in agreement
Truer words were never said

Change is inevitable
It’s a powerful tool
What can’t you live without
Day to day routine, I’m nobody’s fool.

Prompt: Another great one from J.D. Harms. I think I took a different spin on routines -those things we become attached to, look forward to, resist and yet feel isolated from when
